Automotive project managers oversee the full lifecycle of vehicle or component projects from initiation to production, coordinating R&D, procurement, manufacturing, etc., to deliver on time, with quality, and within budget.
Daily work
- 01Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones and deliverables
- 02Organize cross-functional meetings, track team progress, and resolve bottlenecks
- 03Monitor project budget and costs, identify and mitigate risks
- 04Report project status to management regularly and adjust resource allocation
- 05Coordinate suppliers and internal resources to ensure materials and manpower readiness
- 06Drive prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution until production launch
