Daily work
- 01Analyze project requirements, conceptualize lighting schemes, and create visualizations
- 02Perform optical simulations, illuminance calculations, and glare analysis using DIALux and other software
- 03Produce lighting plans, detail drawings, and fixture layout diagrams
- 04Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and clients to align design intent
- 05Supervise on-site installation, commissioning, and quality inspection
- 06Stay updated on lighting technologies to refine design processes and solutions
Ability requirements
Hard skills
- Lighting design software (DIALux, AGI32, Relux)
- AutoCAD/Revit drafting and construction drawing
- Optical fundamentals, luminaire selection, and photometric distribution
- Smart lighting control systems (DALI, KNX, Bluetooth Mesh)
