Daily work
- 01Create 3D models of garments based on 2D drawings or sketches provided by designers
- 02Adjust pattern, fabric texture, and physical properties to ensure realistic simulation
- 03Communicate with designers and pattern makers to modify models for production feasibility and size specifications
- 04Conduct virtual fitting to check garment dynamics on a virtual mannequin
- 05Output rendered images or animations for product presentation and marketing materials
- 06Maintain and update the 3D model library for reuse and version control
Ability requirements
Hard skills
- Proficient in fashion modeling software such as CLO 3D and Marvelous Designer
- Skilled in auxiliary modeling and sculpting tools like ZBrush and Blender
- Knowledge of pattern making, fabric technology, and ergonomics
- Experience with rendering engines such as KeyShot or V-Ray
- Familiar with PBR material creation and texturing techniques
