A Clinical Project Manager plans, executes, and monitors clinical trial projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and regulatory-compliant completion, while managing cross-functional teams.
Daily work
- 01Develop and update clinical trial project plans and timelines
- 02Coordinate communication among study teams, CROs, vendors, and investigators
- 03Monitor project budget, progress, and risks, and devise mitigation strategies
- 04Review clinical trial data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- 05Organize project meetings and write meeting minutes and progress reports
- 06Ensure trial compliance with GCP and applicable regulations
Ability requirements
Hard skills
- Familiarity with ICH-GCP, China GCP, and clinical trial regulations
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Basic knowledge of clinical study design and statistical analysis
- Proficient in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical management systems
- Fluent in English for reading and writing study protocols and reports
