Ship stewards are mainly responsible for passenger reception, dining, cabin service and safety guidance on cruise ships or passenger vessels to ensure a comfortable journey.
Daily work
- 01Greet and guide passengers aboard, assist with luggage handling
- 02Provide cabin cleaning, linen change and restocking services
- 03Serve meals, take orders and provide beverage service in the dining room
- 04Conduct safety drills and guide passengers during emergency evacuation
- 05Handle passenger complaints and special requests
- 06Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas

- Maritime safety and first aid knowledge
- Basic foreign language communication (mainly English)
- Dining service skills (table setting, beverage knowledge)
