Daily work
- 01Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA/UG
- 02Conduct structural strength and crash simulation analysis with Abaqus/ANSYS
- 03Participate in design reviews, coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, procurement teams for optimization
- 04Follow prototype builds and resolve structural issues
- 05Write design standards and technical documents, maintain BOM data
Ability requirements
Hard skills
- Proficient in CAD software such as CATIA/UG/NX
- Skilled in FEA using Abaqus/ANSYS/Nastran
- Knowledgeable in automotive structural design principles and manufacturing processes (stamping, welding, painting)
- Solid understanding of mechanics of materials, theoretical mechanics and lightweight design
- Familiar with NEV crash safety regulations and testing procedures
